Background

I have been interested in textiles, fashion and soft furnishings for many years, starting from my time at school. Sewing for myself, my family and friends and keeping pace with fashion, I spent hours, days and months sourcing textiles, and designing new items or improving the designs of others. This dedication has allowed me to develop a good eye for shapes and colours, knowledge that I share everyday with my many clients and colleagues.

Since I begin trading in 2002, my business has received a fantastic response, growing every year. I now work with interior designers, both locally and in London and enjoy a high level of business from repeat clients and referrals. How I work I work from home in my sewing workshop, where I often meet clients who are interested in fashion, discussing design or chossing fabrics, whereas it is often more appropriate to meet in client's homes or premises for initial soft furnishing consultation. The first consultation, measurement and estimate are free of charge for local clients and later consultations may be charged depending upon travel time and expenses incurred. I fit all of my own work, and this cost is included in the quotation I supply.
